Harmony Row in the 1970’s

Season 1973/ 74.

This team were Strathclyde under 19 League Champions and also lifted the Challenge Cup & League Shield.

The team went through the league season undefeated and their only loss was to Ayr Bothwell in Scottish Cup final at Meadow Park Irvine.

The pool of players was as follows,

Goalkeeper: Frank Haughey,

Defenders: Tony Tinney, Davey Blair (captain), John Gallacher, Steven Cunnion, Joe Carpenter.

Midfield: Gerry Murphy, Jimmy Elliott, Jim McFall, Ricky Toner, Willie McArthur, Alex Barrie.

Forwards: Bill Davidson, Danny McIntosh, John Barton and Willie Cowan.

Trainer: Gus Campbell.

Coach/manager: Bobby Gordon.
